THE HARBOR FUND

Every gift to the Annual Fund helps us do more than tuition alone ever could. It's how we turn our vision for Montessori education into everyday reality for our children. Our dream is 100% participation from our Board, staff, and families. Not because of the size of any one gift, but because of what it means when our whole community stands together behind this mission. We invite each family to give in whatever way feels meaningful to you, and we're deeply grateful for every contribution, big or small.When our community gives, it also speaks volumes beyond our own walls. It shows foundations and neighbors alike that we are truly invested in what we're building here. That opens doors to future grant funding and partnerships that help HMS thrive for years to come.

Each year, we give our entire community the opportunity to support The Harbor Fund. This means our Board, faculty and staff, parents and guardians, and community of grandparents and alumni.

There really is no limit, and there are many ways to give. Consider a one-time donation, or set up recurring donations each month over the school year. Pledges are also accepted throughout the year, with payments due by June 30. Matching gifts might also be possible through your employer. We only ask that families give a gift that is meaningful to them. Every gift counts.

The Harbor Fund 2026 annual giving campaign begins this fall and runs through June 30. This year, our goal is 100% participation from the Board, parents and guardians, community members, and faculty and staff as we work to reach $100,000. Pledges or gifts made by June 30 go to work this academic year and help shape our budget decisions for the year ahead.

Yes.The Community Roots Endowment was created in January 2024 to do what our best Montessori materials do: serve generations of children, not just one. These gifts are invested to grow steadily over time, ensuring permanent funding for as long as Harbor Montessori School exists.
