Why Wouldn’t We Match Our Teaching Strategies to the Research?

If you are viewing our blog, you may already be aware that an accredited Montessori education is the only education system that is based on child development research. While Dr. Montessori originally did her research the pain-staking way (by observation) over a 100 years ago, the latest brain research has confirmed her findings. So why is it in the face of 100 years of proven, research-based results, that traditional schools, whether public or private, continuing to teach in ways we know are ineffective?
